Ballistic Shield Operators Course

This Ballistic Shield Operators Course is an introductory to the theory and practical training , skills and techniques in the use and limitations of the ballistic shield.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

• Handheld flashlight
• Pistol with a light mounted with a rigid holster with a minimum of three (3) magazines
• Minimum of 200 rounds
• Eye & Ear protection
• Proper clothing for the weather
• Notebook/paper and pen
• Food, snacks, water 
• A good attitude, ready for a fun day!

The (VCQB) Course is an intensive 8-hour course that will focus on positional shooting while conducting various drills while engaging threats in, around, from, over and under vehicles. 

Physical demonstrations of proficiency in techniques learned in training is required for this course.  

This course is designed to improve the student's ability with the Pistol and Carbine while improving on the basics while mitigating threats on the move, shooting around, over and under vehicles.  This course also includes a Stop The Bleed certification.    

The course will focus on fast and accurate target acquisition, utilizing speed drills emphasized under a specific time constraints.  This course is for the intermediate shooter having a basic level of understanding of a handgun and carbine while in and around vehicles.

• Pistol with an optic that is zeroed (preferred but not required)
• Carbine with an optic that is zeroed (preferred but not required)
• Gear belt with a minimum of three (3) magazines per system
• Minimum of 500 rounds per system (Brass commercial ammunition only)
• Eye & Ear protection
• Proper clothing for the weather
• Notebook/paper and pen
• Weapons cleaning kit
• Food, snacks, water

This Low Light Handgun Course is an introductory class into the world of utilizing your weapon mounted light and handheld light.  This class will consist of Day and Night Shooting that will distance from close-mid range engagements.  This class is open to all shooters who have taken some kind of formal instruction.

This is a 6-hour structure building clearing course and is intended for anyone who wants to be prepared to defend their family and loved ones inside of buildings.  Students will start at the most basic repetition and work up to full structure clearance.  Force on paper and force on force, no physical contact between students and role players, no live fire.  This class is designed for high rep count with low down time.   

This course also includes a 2-hour block of the Stop The Bleed course.

This is a high paced thinking course designed to teach you the principles of solo CQB.  This is NOT a shooting course, this is a thinking, mobility, foot-work course.

This is a 6-hour Intermediate Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Course and is intended for students to continue the methodology.  This course is a contingency class where we deal with small rooms and man down problems in confined places.  Students will continue to practice the most basic repetition and work up to full structure clearance in a LIVE FIRE environment.

This course also includes a 2-hour block of the Stop The Bleed course.

This is a high paced thinking course designed to expand the principles of CQB.

This hands-on, dynamic course is designed to aid the first responder in approaching and breaching into a crisis site using traditional and non-traditional methods. The course covers the use of both manual and ballistic breaching tools to gain entry into a structure under extreme exigent circumstances that demand immediate entry to save and protect innocent lives.

This course also includes a 2-hour block of the Stop The Bleed course.
