Students can take the online License to Carry (LTC/CHL) class from the comfort of their home for ONLY $59.00. 

Tier 3 Consulting offers the official Online License to Carry (LTC/CHL) class through Texas Carry Academy.  The Online LTC Class works on all electronic devices and is four (4) hours long.  The online LTC course is self-paced, students can stop, log out, log back in and pick up right where you left off!  The MOST popular and easy way to take the LTC Class is ONLINE. 

Who can take the Online License to Carry (LTC/CHL)?

Anyone in Texas can take the Online LTC Class.  We use an official Online LTC Class provider approved statewide by the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Immediately upon passing the online class you will be able to download your official certificate of training (LTC-101) form.

Who is exempt from the shooting portion?

Certain students are not required to complete the range portion of the LTC class.  The ONLY requirement is completing the Online LTC Class . The following is a list of the exempt students.

• Texas State Correctional Officers
• Active duty military or veterans that have within the past 10 years completed training in the familiarization of firearms OR have firearm shooting scores from military.  
• County Jailers that have completed firearms training as part of their employment.   

Students can take the online License to Carry (REFRESHER COURSE) from the comfort of their home for ONLY $39.00. 

This refresher course is for those that already have a License to Carry (LTC).  LTC holders received a lot of new benefits and protections in the last Texas Legislative Session.  We can also carry in more places now with fewer restrictions.  This course covers everything a license holder needs to know.  We break down and explain all the new laws so its's easy for everyone to understand.  We want to make sure everyone understands and knows all of the new laws.  if you have a Texas License to Cary you will learn something new by taking our REFRESHER COURSE.  

NEW LTC CARRY LAWS

You will learn about some new law changes that license holders have been waiting years for.  This past legislative session gave LTC holders rights, protections and benefits that ONLY APPLY to those with a license.  some topics in this course include:

HB 1927, Constitutional Carry became effective September 1, 2021. 

Students can take the online Constitutional Carry (PERMITLESS) class from the comfort of their home.  

Tier 3 Consulting offers the Online Constitutional Carry class through the Texas Carry Academy.  The Online Constitutional carry class is only 30 minutes long and works on all electronic devices.

Who can take the Online Constitutional Carry?

Anyone can take the course!  The online Constitutional Carry (Permitless) course will cover what you need to know to carry legally and safely in Texas without a License to Carry.  Carrying without a LTC has rules, restrictions and regulations that are NOT the same as for those with a license to carry.  Not knowing the law is not an excuse.  This is NOT a License to Carry course, or does not replace the LTC program.  License to carry holders have less restrictions here.

This course is designed for students who already completed the Online LTC Course and only need to complete the LTC range instruction and proficiency demonstration portion of the course.  

During the LTC range instruction and proficiency demonstration course you will learn basic instruction of handgun use and safety.  While this course is primarily designed for students who completed the Online LTC Class, students looking for a refresher course or wanting some basic introductory handgun instructions can also attend this course.

• Semi-automatic handgun or a revolver (any caliber), unloaded and in a box, case or bag.  
• One box with 50 rounds of ammunition - brass commercial ammunition only
• Cap or hat
• Safety or Prescription Glasses and hearing protection
• Appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear

This course has a $135.00 standard course fee and the Online - License to Carry Course is required as mandated by the State of Texas. 

Courses have limited seating to minimize instructor-to-student ratio.
