Red Dot Pistol
The Red Dot Pistol Course is designed to help experienced pistol shooters transition from using standard pistol iron sights to mini red dot sights (MRDS) for self-defense or duty use. The course provides necessary skills and techniques for effectively using red dot sights on handguns.
Patrol Rifle
The Patrol Rifle Course is an 16-hour fundamental and foundational understanding of the carbine (AR15 Platform) and it components.
This course covers the application of the patrol rifle as required by TCOLE Course #3322. Topics covered through lecture and application are rifle deployment in a patrol capacity, engaging targets at various distances, vehicles as barricades and conventional and unconventional shooting positions.
Defensive Handgun Tactics
The Defensive Handgun Course is intended for the intermediate to advanced level student to improve on the basics of mitigating threats on the move, shooting around, over and under barricades.
Basic Structure Clearing (Solo CQB)
This course is intended for the homeowner wanting to learn the basic of structure clearing a residence in case of a potential intruder.
Tactical Carbine / Pistol
The Tactical Carbine / Pistol Course is designed to improve the student's ability with both the carbine and pistol while improving on the basics while mitigating threats on the move, shooting around, over and under barricades.
(VCQB) Vehicle Close Quarter Battle
This course will focus on positional shooting while conducting various drills while engaging threats in, around, from, over and under vehicles.
Trauma Management Course
This course covers the MARCH assessment to be utilized in a tactical setting and covers the following topics:
- Hemorrhage control including immediate action drills for tourniquet application throughout the course
- Surgical airway control and needle decompression
- Strategies for treating wounded responders in threatening environments
- Techniques for dragging and carrying victims to safety, and
- A final, mass-casualty/active shooter event simulation.
